Northamptonshire County Scouts have a vacancy for a paid cleaner to join our great team at the Sir John Lowther County Scout Activity Centre near Glendon, Kettering.
The post currently attracts remuneration of £8.91 per hour. Hours will be on a casual ‘when needed basis’ and will be flexible to meet the requirements of the centre.
This is a permanent role.
Role description
To assist with the effective and efficient running of cleaning and housekeeping functions at the Sir John Lowther County Scout Centre (County Centre).
This will include working in a team with other staff. There will be a requirement for dealing with customers face to face. The candidate will also be required to work alone in the centre with minimal supervision from time to time, have a strong customer service ethos, be a team player and be reliable.
The ideal candidate would have a friendly personality with experience of the needs of a busy activity centre. Knowledge of scouting could be helpful but is not essential.
