To change the recipient email on SASU Contact form
There is a ‘fiddle’ on the SASU Enquiry form to enable us to use the same enquiry form regardless of SASU, but to have it forward the enquiry email to the correct SASU Owner (without incurring licence fees from Ninja Forms).
It is complicated and only those with Admin priviledges can do this. Henny is more than happy to do it (henny.cameron@outlook.com).
- On Dashboard, check to see if the new recipient of the SASU email is already a User (the new recipient will normally be the SASU manager)
- do this by using the User option on the Dashboard, scroll down to see if your new person already exists.
- If the new SASU manager is already a User, check the person has a role of Contributor or editor or adminsitrator
- If it is not, use the Update User to update the Role to be Contributer and save
- If the new SASU manager is not already a user,
- click ‘add user‘
- Give the person a username (normally forename space surname, e.g. Henny Cameron)
- Add their scouts email
- Add their Forename
- Add their Surname
- Scroll down to ‘Send User Notification’, make sure this is NOT tocked
- In the Role, use the drop down to select Contributor
- Click the Add new user button
