The Trustee Board exists to support the Northamptonshire Lead Volunteer in meeting the responsibilities of his appointment. Members of the Trustee Board act collectively as Charity Trustees of the Scout County, and in the best interests of the members to:
• Comply with the Rules of The Scout Association
• Protect and maintain any property and equipment
• Manage the County finances
• Provide sufficient resources for Scouting to operate
• Support the development of Scouting in the local area
• Manage and implement the Safety Policy locally
• Prepare reports for the Charity Commission where required
Amongst other things all detailed in our constitution

Finance and General Purposes Committee

The F&GP ensures that the interests of members of the County Scout Council are properly protected in relation to financial reporting, internal financial control and the management of the County assets (physical) providing advice and recommendations to the Trustees.

Centre Management Committee (CMC)

The Centre Management Committee (CMC) is responsible for the oversight of activity, development, financial management and maintenance of the Centre providing advice and recommendations to the Trustees.

Risk Management Committee (RMC)

The Charity’s key risks are reviewed as an ongoing process by the Risk Management Committee and through regular reporting to the Trustees. All County Trustee Board members have a responsibility to identify potential risks and bring them to the attention of the County Trustee Board, which will then be evaluated and included in the register.

Amenities Block Project Implementation Team

To project manage the development of a proposed new amenities block at the Sir John Lowther Centre. Ultimately providing advice and recommendations to the Trustees via the Centre Management Committee and Finance & General Purposes.
